We have extensive cast collections of fossil apes and humans, and a large range of original fossil mammals on loan from the Geological Survey of Pakistan. Good comparative skeletal collections of humans, other primates, and other mammals are available in the Peabody Museum and in the Museum of Comparative Zoology.

**Siwalik Fossils**

A selection of Miocene fossils from the Potwar Plateau of northern Pakistan is on loan from the Geological Survey of Pakistan for research. Please contact John Barry (<jcbarry@fas.harvard.edu>) if you have a research interest.

**Hominoid Casts**

Numbering more than 3000, these casts include many of the most significant Plio-Pleistocene hominin fossils from around the world. Also represented are hundreds of casts of fossil ape specimens. If you are interested in studying the collections, please contact Michèle Morgan (<memorgan@fas.harvard.edu>). You may also browse the Peabody Museum’s [collections online](http://pmem.unix.fas.harvard.edu:8080/peabody/).

**Osteological Collections**

The osteological collections of the Peabody Museum are also available for research. They include human remains, largely from archaeological contexts, and a small selection of non-human primates. Learn more about the [osteological collections](https://www.peabody.harvard.edu/node/901) and how to make a [research request](https://www.peabody.harvard.edu/node/44). The [Mammalogy Department](http://mcz.harvard.edu/Departments/Mammalogy/index.html) of the Museum of Comparative Zoology curates a large collection of extant primates.
